There was clearly more to it than not wearing a gps tracker...otherwise why would you have a meeting with a club chairman and CEO with your agent over something so small and petty?

I’m only guessing but surely they’ve all agreed while he’s still contracted to us this season the best place for him is out on the pitch playing his best. If we’re still paying him it’s pointless him being sat in the stands...come back and give your all for the rest of the season, then have your move away at the season end if that’s what you want.

Overall Dave has been a great signing and a real fans favourite, we must remember that and if he is to leave it would be a better way to go out doing his best on the field rather than leaving over such a nonsense thing about not wearing a tracker!

I’m not sure why some are so surprised by Fifitas behaviour. This latest episode seems typical of the bloke. He’s just one of those people who need to blow off steam every few years, be told that they are actually much loved, then hey presto they are right as rain again.

Only down side is I don’t see him ever being as good as he was a few years back, just age and injuries. I think we will now get the best he has left to offer but I’m far from convinced it will be as good as what he used to offer.
