right back to the rugby and castleford high yr7 won their yorkshire cup tie 50-4 against east hull school kelvin hall running in 9 tries and kicking 7 goals without having to get out of second gear.

Sounds like a very comprehensive victory (no pun intended-LOL)
However in the interests of accuracy Kelvin Hall is a West Hull School.

thanks for that russ, it seems cyrius? are the strongest school in the city of hull going off what was said although they were saying kelvin hall had finished second in the qualifying groups which i find hard to believe given what ive seen of some of the junior teams from over in hull.

Sirius are really strong Rob. Half from West Hull and haLF wyke - no doubt a few other lads too!
Dont want to talk our of turn but dont think there's much strength in East Hull Schools - most of the rugby playing lads are spread pretty thinly!

the kelvin hall scrum half was a cracking player but couldnt do it all on his own "cleary plays rugby" and jake reckons one of your players played too, you can see why the strength in depth isnt their with hull been such a big area its pretty much the same with the leeds schools although south leeds do well since they merged 3 schools into 1 over the last couple of years and they have the pick of the kids from oulton raiders,hunslet warriors and parkside thankfully all three are pretty average at yr7.

id be happy with wakey v leeds if the boys are playing before,but a long way to go just yet and many hurdles to get over.

think i might be over at your place saturday has stanningley cannot raise a team to play us due to a wedding or summet and the only other team available wont play us either.

Yes one of our lads plays for Kelvin, regarding the scrum half - if it's the lad I think you mean at scrum-half he usually plays stand off for Wyke and is a real talent!

long hair with a yellow scrum cap,a right live wire he scored a lovely try and must have tracked back and saved at least 3 tries,he put one or two big hits in too so he wasnt bothered about putting it about.

if it is the wyke player he opened up some huge gaps in the 1st half and was one of wykes better players which is a huge compliment .
