I have come to the conclusion that i and many others have been wrong all along and quite frankly these players of ours just aren't as good as we thought they were. Bar maybe half a dozen it is becoming more apparent that they just aren't physically or mentally up to it. Brian Smith or not i can't see this lot keeping the club in superleague.

Half of them are an embarrassment to the club. They are not good enough but we're stuck with 'em for now so I can only hope Brian Smith comes with some sticks of dynamite to stick up their proverbials.
Oh! - and yes, get somebody in who can make them run faster and for longer than me.

Well if the players share the same attitude as you theboyem you may be right. Any player found sherking should be packed away. Im of the opinion that the players have the opportunity to buckle up and dig in and that applies to the whole squad
I also think the senior members need to honest with the club and more importantly with themselves. Having had the chance to leave it would appear many are still going through the motions .

Club record of consecutive SL defeats, and the Rhinos next so I doubt that will be stopped soon.

Sadly i've seen nothing to suggest that they don't share the same attitude. Many just don't seem to want to be here.

Smith needs his work permit application okaying before he can get here, so its thursday/friday at the earliest.

The club needs a complete revamp from the very bottom all the way through to the SL squad. Brian Smith, by reputation, will not only arrest the slide but will also instigate systems that will set the club up for the future.

What he needs is an assistant coach who can learn from him in the same way Matty Elliott, Brian Noble, Ian Millward etc did during his time at Hull, Bradford, Illawarra etc.

He will have far far more pulling power on players down under than any of our previous coaches and will also know the right players to recruit.

I'm very happy with this appointment, time will tell though.
