It's not the first job he has looked at whilst seemingly being uninterested since the cas cup game in doing the one he already has. Plus even the most blinkered Kear fan such as you can see that his announcement to the media this morning was ill-timed and poorly thought out - as I said apply for the job like all the others he has done, but no need to publicly announce it.

In fact he has probably reduced his chances of getting it, as if it was left to RW he might have stood a chance, but the majority of Cas fans will express their displeasure about him being coach following his announcement and thus IMO he won't get the job.

i am really ed off that the kids have not been given a go...sorry to say but jk does NOT have us as his main concern anymore...

I doubt he has gone out and released a statement to the media. More likely he was asked, and gave an honest answer. He will have some idea whether the club plans to retain him or not, and if no talks have been forthcoming it will be a good indicator that he's going to be out of work pretty soon. As for the other jobs, we all saw what happened to the club last year, and I'm sure everybody who felt the business they were working for were in danger of going under would be out looking for other jobs straight away. I hope he stays whether whichever league we are in next season.

Was there any need to announce it in a press conference though, right at the time when we appear to have absolutely no motivation on the field of play?

Your entitled to your opinion, but why anyone would still want Kear in charge is beyond me. Poor performances since Cas cup game, strange team selections, rubbish tactics, pathway to first team seemingly being blocked for our own young players.

He can be as interested as he likes, from what I've heard the jobs gone. No offence either, but when he came on board at wakey I thought it was a bad choice for you. I've never rated him as a coach and he's done little over the years to change my opinion.

And that's my point you clown! He knew what was happening at the club, and felt that he needed something more secure as I'm sure he has bills to pay as well. We only saw the club go tits up in December, I'm sure people on the inside knew long before that.
