Widnes had Penny on loan last year. Different standard obviously so won't comment on his effectiveness, but his effort and enthusiasm were outstanding. Give the lad a chance.

and thats my perfect example if Penny had defended like that there would be 10 pages on the saints forum and twenty on the wires one.....but the big fat effort in pigtails gets away with every time.

Again Cudjoe... last week was the dogs nuts but he quite clearly has handling issues and got nowhere near a kick last night...cost them a try, but quickly swept over by the muppets on sky.....incidentally the pigtailed one was actually that frightened of a high ball that he made no attempt to catch it...

Best signing so far for me would have him instead of blanch anyday it was only 2 years ago he was the next best thing since slice bread. Great signing.

Just like what other teams did to Blanch last season. Atleast Penny has the pace to get across when their wingers get on the outside, Blanch wasn't quick enough to close the space.

I think KP is a gamble but one worth taking and at last we have some actual pace in our back line. Just hope we use it.....
