Think there might be something out this week.

| Quote Gaslight="Gaslight"Or, he backed the feasibility study because, he, like most other people know Glasshoughton is the better site, meaning it would have been picked and the 4m would have guaranteed all 15,000 would have been built, Wakefield, knowing this, have thrown the teddy out of the cot in an attempt to sabotage Cas' plans, putting the clubs own future at risk in doing so - forgetting Cas have said they can do the building in a phased manner, which still passes with the RFL.
Because you have a chairman who sees better to try ruin Cas then look after his own club, the study would have shown Glasshoughton is the more favourable and Wakey knew this, nothing more to it.'"
God you must be really worrying now your just sounding more pathetic by the second!
So Wakey won't move to Cas and accept the inevitable consequences (as well as hand over 2m of potential funding) and were just trying to deliberately derail your project. Your so blinkered it's impossible to reason with you.

| Quote Fully="Fully"If he backed both stadiums, Labour would be gaining votes, not losing them. After all it's not direct council funding is it?'"
I just get the impression he's trying to worm out of giving the 4m worth of loans up. Any unpopularity caused by pulling these loans will be nothing compared to what he will have to face up to when he has to start slashing the workforce. He would probably use the loans for the council to ease the effects of the cuts.

It's a two way system mate. Both sides are blinkered and have been throughout this week and beyond.

No, let me explain this slooooowwwllllly for you:
Cas won't share at Newmarket because, well it isn't even in Wakefield, never mind Castleford.
Wakefield won't share at Glasshoughton, even though Glasshoughton is in Castleford, which is part of Wakefield.
following?
Ted Richardson, after hearing that the council want to use both pieces of funding on one piece of land, and wants an independent feasibility study carried out to see which stadium deserves the funding, and Richard Wright agreeing, panics, knowing Glasshoughton is a more favourable site for a stadium.
Today announces Wakefield will have nothing to do with Glasshoughton, putting Wakefield at risk because there's still massive question marks over Newmarket, and making sure Cas don't get £4m to build a COMPLETE stadium.
Not worried at all, just find it amusing that Ted Richardson has done what was fully expected of him to do, Glasshoughton will go ahead with or without the council, just the council money would assure all of the 15,000 capacity is built at once

The only reason they would take them both back is if they needed them to raise finance themselves? Can the Council themselves loan against them? This is the confusing point.
I'm getting sick of this whole process and wish there was just a way to get this sorted. If the council could put a fast-track planning system, I'd support a groundshare at Normanton and hope we'd get something like that off the ground.
I just hope this is not the sad demise of two clubs at once.

| Quick point here: why can't they give 2 £2m loans, but only 1 £4m loan, what is the difference? zero, 2 £2m loans creates more jobs, or are the council actually really that stupid they don't see it?

We don't know what the full facts are regarding GH. This is what is needed this week - a detailed, clinical and honest statement regarding the situation with our ground.
Saying all this you're leaving yourself open and making you sound obsessed with Wakefield. I backtracked a few days ago a little as, although I knew GH was the best site, Wakey were never going to share and we could really be in the poo.

That has always been my question. Just keep the promised funding allocated to both projects and let then get on with it.

I believe any land of value can be used to get a loan against, it's an asset that you own. It's like getting remortgage on your house if you have equity in it.
It's shows how sad the game has got that where discussing this on a match day when both our teams have been playing. It's all about the politics of the game now! That's why im so disillusioned.

Give each club the £2m loan and give Wakefield Council a stake in each ground from the revenue streams, say 10%.
