The panel were asked to explain the difference between Federation players,Non Federation,Quota players etc, and a question was asked from the audience, "Why is Sam Obst still classed as a Quota player when he has been over here so long and yet J.D isn't a quota player?
This question seemed to be overlooked at the meeting, so can anyone explain on here?

Obst has not got a European passport, Demetriou has.

'It's a non-story' is what he said. We have a smaller tax bill this year than last and it is disappointing that it made the news.

Also confirmed that it had no effect on player recruitment and that in his opinion (Ted) we would be stronger this year than last!

Ted was miffed that it had got into the press because as far as he was concerned a deal had already being made with the taxman and payments were being met. He said that cause of it was a cash flow problem as crowds were down last year; he didn’t seem overly concerned by it.
