| I don't agree on Trueman but I do agree on Russell and the mistakes killed us. It wasn't just us though. Sts squeezed us out of the game with their defense but we helped them with their field position. Our completion rate must have been awful

| While disappointed with the loss, the issues are fixable. We were in the game but let ourselves down with the errors. We weren't blown away.

Nothing to fear from any pack in S L the pack gave as much as they took We can not play Hood and Russell as 9 s together both can tackle but offer nothing in attack , need a 9 who can interchange and brings some thing new to the field .Was Trueman on the field just did nothing (he is a Marquee player expected some thing) Max had a poor game but you can not expect him to go well every week Think we have seen the best of T J but the passes he was getting were shockers .Over all in the spine Lino was the only one that went ok . But think the main thing that gave Saints the win ,was all the mistakes we made ,handing the ball over well in our half .Think all the 50/50 calls went Saints way and like HKR so did the the bounce of ball ,but overall we were poor Not sure which Hood you've been watching but his runs from dummy half have got us on the front foot quite a few times this season and it was his grubber kick and chase that led directly to Lino's try at Headingley (which ultimately won us the game !!) Still waiting to be impressed by Olly Russell though !!

| Personally I think it's time to see Russell at 7 with Truman at 6. Lino did OK and tackled like a warrior, but was largely ineffective and his in play kicks were poor. One things for sure, shoehorning all three into the matchday 17 has a negative affect on the squad.

| Russell at 7 - not for me. He hasn't earned the right. Lino has played well. It's no coincidence our right edge has been a key part if our attack.

Earning the right is difficult to do when your playing 9. Lino plays the game the way he always has done since he signed for Trinity. He hasn't evolved or got better. Some times he runs the ball too wide taking out the space for the edges to attack (when they can catch a ball that is) and his kicks are straight down the fullbacks throat. He has a blinder every so often then drops back to average again.

| Just my opinion but I like Lino at 7 so far this season. Russell will just have to wait for his opportunity

| I agree with Lino at 7, he as been the most influential of the halves in our 3 games. On the whole I think we`ve made a good start to the season with a patched up squad, and with the likes of Rodwell, Storton, Nikotemo bolstering the pack and bench when fit along with others back from injury , then a good run could be on the cards. From a personal view i would like to see Mat Russell and Josh Rourke get a run out in the wing and centre against wire.

| Lino gets my vote. He's been quick and always looks a threat. I see him involved in most of the tackles especially down the centre. OK, every now and again a pass doesn't come off but if he played it safe all the time then our attack would suffer and everyone would complain.

| I don’t think I would change too much from the Saints game. Of those who are out injured I expect Nikotemo, Scott and Rodwell to offer us something in the starting 13. I’d maintain the half pairing of Trueman and Lino for now. Russell will have to wait his chance. Hood and Doyle/Smith at 9. I would like to see Roarke in centre with TJ again like the 2nd half vs KR but Hall is playing pretty well too. The bench we need to carry 2 props. Croft for 7 minutes doesn’t offer much. He either starts for 30/40 with Vagana coming on or Faatilli on bench. On Faatilli, he will have had 2 and a half weeks to get training in so I expect him to have settled in a little now and see more minutes and quick plays. I think I would go : Jowitt Russell Pratt Roarke Johnstone Trueman Lino Mckmeeken Hood Atoni Vagana Storton Pitts Smith Doyle Uele Faatilli
