I would, especially if Leeds payed a chunk of his wage.
The thing about having three quota spots left and waiting for the WC to end is that there are some real deals to be had. The players we sign don't have to have played in the WC, what we are waiting for IMO is the fallout.
If rich clubs like Leeds or whoever see someone they want in the WC they will go to great length to get rid of what they don't want. This is especially relevant given the number of new brooms at many clubs.
We may not be able to compete for the real stars of the WC but we are in a terrific position to pick up some bargain deals for some quality players. Just because there faces no longer fit at their current clubs doesn't mean they won't fit nicely with us.

Can’t argue with that tbh. If the money is right he can play loose and cover prop if needed.

| Well he looks to have struggled to have settled here but in the second half of last season he seemed to start showing why they had signed him, he looks to have turned a corner, If Leeds get rid of him now they have in essence brought him around the world, paid him big bucks to settle him for another team to benefit.

I really cant see us getting him. However you are right about his form, he has looked a very good player at the end of season. He also seems to do long minutes. His main issue is the amount of yellow and red cards he attracts.

Is he not a loose and a prop?
I suppose it’s up to Mash if he thinks he will add value. I wouldn’t be dissapointed if we did show interest to be fair.

| Tetevano is on huge money at Leeds, one of, if not the, highest earners in super league. Talk is he’s on silly money at Leeds, heading up towards 300k!! Even with Leeds paying some he’s probably out of reach. Doubt they’d get rid now anyway, i’d guess it was either him or Prior rather than both. They now have their cap space and quota spot for MacDonald.

Indeed he can…and he is equally hopeless at both.
I’m not sure what happened on the flight from Australia to Leeds, but the lad that got off the plane wasn’t the same lad that was playing at Penrith.
He’s up there with one of the worst signings in the SL era for me. It doesn’t matter how much we would have to contribute towards his wage if he came it would still be too much.
He may turn it round next year under Smith, he certainly needs to but I wouldn’t go anywhere near him. He looked poor in the Cook Islands team at the World Cup too, unfit/lazy and penalty machine.
Quota spots too precious to take such big risks with. All players are risks but he would be an exceptional risk.

| Leeds tried to offload Prior to Bradford with us paying a chunk of his salary in order to let us bring in another OS signing, centre most likely.
However Prior said he would rather retire if we could pay him off which we did.
Tetavano did miss games due to his tackling technique which to be fair he corrected towards the end of the season similar to Bentley.
There`s a good player in there and he can do long minutes in a number of positions in the pack.
There`s no way he is on £300k a year though.
Leeds would pay some of his salary but I would hazard a guess you would still be looking at paying £100k a year for him.

I think he's probably worth that.

Completely agree. The hype around him is a Complete mystery to me. I've never seen him play and been impressed. A very expensive Jonny average in my opinion. Would rather have Taylor.
