hmmm! Be careful what you wish for. Salford have a chairman/owner who is allegedly very wealthy and was willing to invest huge amounts in the club, however if that article is true it looks like he has decided that maybe he doesn't want to keep throwing money at it. Without his investment they could find themselves in very dire circumstances indeed.
Perhaps we should be thankful that Michael Carter has tried to keep us going on the income we have, not overspending what we can't afford. I'd rather have a shack built on solid foundations than a mansion built on sand!

Vendetta or not, I'm sure they're familiar with the laws of libel, fwiw if there is any truth in it and Chase has had to sell his car, send him over here to play for us and he can borrow mine

There is no "allegedly" about Koucash's wealth Fordy, he is seriously wealthy (several hundred £million) but, wealthy folk don't usually throw their brass about and at some point he will want some kind of return.
"His net worth is estimated to be anywhere between $900 million to $3 billion"
Maybe not in terms of cash but, success for the club that he has invested in.
I wonder if he still asks his players to look across to Old Trafford and dream of playing in the GF

It appears to be a bizarre relationship between the club & this publication (is it even a publication).
I remember when the new ground was in the offing they seemed vehemently against the whole venture, is there someone who works for this company who has an axe to grind with the club?
Posters on here moan about the Wakefield Express, but the Salford Star seems to be on another level.

Here's the other side of the story www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/ ... ng-9432173
I expect Salford will line up something like this;
1. Evalds
2. Johnson
3. Sa'u
4. Griffin
5. Jones-Bishop
6. Chase
7. Fages
8. Taylor
9. Tomkins
10. D.Griffin
11. Hansen
12. Hauraki
13. Paterson
Morley
Tasi
Krasniqi
Hood
Unsure if Harris will go with 3 props on the bench, but given how warm it's expected to be I wouldn't be surprised.

| First Trinity match it months I am looking forward to attending not wishing we didn't have a match like has been the case over the last few months. Hopefully the players will respond to B Smith and we can start to see a Trinity team that resembles a RL team for the first time in months.

| at the end of the day we don't want to see any club fall by the way side as wealthy as you might call the CEO, I think the real reason for the lack of support is where the stadium has been place away from its original roots of Salford, foolish to think that you'd expect the crowd just to follow and fill the stadium
worrying times ahead for the game
