Just for the record am I correct in thinking that James didn't employ his future wife when he came back from Hull KR. Wasn't she already employed by the club?

I can't believe what I'm reading on this Forum. We miss out on the 8 and we have personal attacks on James and Sarah Elston. For everyone's information James did not employ Sarah, she was appointed by Steve Ferris, possibly when James was at Hull KR.

Some of the comments on here are without foundation and are potentially libelous and people should think carefully before posting or they may find themselves in trouble. You cannot hide behind user names.

This is indeed turning into a "nut job" forum and the Mods need to take a careful look at this situation before it goes any further.

Tbh sandal cat I haven't read anything libellous as yet in this thread, some povs may be at the extreme end of things.
If people consider they are being libeled then due process must be followed by anyone concerned.
As your say posters need to be careful and the mods are aware.

Totally agree, how people can be so caustic without access to corporate information is beyond me. It's always the case that it's easy to slag someone off behind their back, without any regard to their personal feelings or the job they actually do. Much of this sounds personally directed, and to be honest leaves a very nasty taste in my mouth.

Leave the hiring and firing to those paid to do it, leave their appraisal and remuneration to the board and either support the team or bog off, because quite honestly some of you so-called 'supporters' are dragging the club down.

Although some of the comments are close to the bone, I don't think they're borne from missing out on the 8. More so the financial status of the club after just two years of having a relatively clean slate.

As fans we should complain about missing the 8, it should have been within our grasp this year.

Financial status of the club - I'm not on the board or a shareholder so have no real idea whats going on or what may be in the pipeline for the future. I'm interested in the team, not the corporate side of things. I do what I can by buying ST etc, but unless I win Euromillions (must check!) the business side is of little more than passing interest to me.

I totally agree - this place is rapidly becoming unpalatable to those people with a bit of common sense and decency. There's not much fun in it any more.

At last people are starting to see this man for the joker that he is, I find it hard to believe that AG has taken so long to see what an he is, lets remember he is all about himself think back to when he went to KR thinking the grass was greener then came back and put a knife in the back of Francis Stephenson yes and from reports from the club he is the reason players have left the club for like has already has been stated he tries to tell players who were ten times the player that he was ever likely to be. What He needs to stick to is picking up second rate dancers promoting them into a field they are quite clearly inept at and aspiring and go to a club like Rochdale second rate player second rate chief exec. unfortunately to some extent this forum represents society

After a period of lurking in the early days I started to post a bit on this forum, however as this season has progressed I have felt less and less compelled to post and when I do post, it seems to get attacked and I don't think it's just me, there seems an air of negativity running through this forum an it's starting to get ugly. Personal attacks towards people who earn a living at WTW and using names like "plebs" is down right immoral. I am quite sure these people are not "Stealing a living" and are doing their best to help WTW in fact picking on SE is clearly wrong as one part of our licensing application was applauded and that was the community side of the club, which I'm pretty sure she is one of those responsible for helping improve it

No, the CEO should be any good at his/her job as a first qualification. Same for anyone else. Couldn't care less about how much they "love the club" as that's only a qualification for supporters.
