It seems unfair but (playing devils advocate here ...) they will take into consideration previous history and if McGoldrick has been up before them previously that may have been taken into consideration?

Going off at a tangent, I was pursing the organic tomatoes in t'ASDA at Cas when M'Goldrick wandered right in front of my trolley. I could have accidentally taken him out for two or three matches but then I thought 'Why do Cas a favour?'

senior kicks a 6ft 3 player in the face who had regained his feet and split his eye, no ban. lee smith kicks phil bailey in the face again after bailey had regained his feet in the final eliminator, no ban ( and went on to get man of the match in the final). if a player is thrashing about on the floor and someone catches a stray boot cos they layed on then that is accidental. when a player vertically kicks his legs out common sense tells you there is a chance someone is gonna get caught. reckless and dangerous. but mcgoldrick gets banned. set of f**king idiots at redhall. no balls, no consistency, no idea !!!!

You forgot to mention Sam Tomkins from last year - found guilty and fined,but no ban.

i cannot recall the incident, so cannot say how bad it was or whether the other player had regained his feet,had injury caused etc, but if this was the case should sam have been banned....absolutely. which is why i was bemoaning the lack of consistency

but whether injury is caused should be an aggravating factor and add to the punishment. for me a least a 2 game ban should be in force with additional games for any aggravating circumstances. but this will never happen as redhall are spineless and inconsistent and make decisions on the importance of games, eg lee smith in the final eliminater on phil bailey.
