Same at all stadium now, no bins and easier to sweep it all up than to have the bomb disposal team check the contents of every bin icon_thumb.gif

yes this did get mentioned before and here we go again health and safety gone mad, in stadia and quite a few other place will you find the lack of bins about and this is down to the possibility of putting incendiary devices in them so they are unseen

great world we live in eh

Newgroundb4cas - its everything to do with what you are saying you stated it was EMBARASSING the state of the ground I have given you a solution get down and give a hand as the saying goes "many hands make light work"the thread is about stadium mods.Come on were in it together non of those handful that have helped out bite in fact you might just make some new friends and the ground might not be EMBARASSING then.

There are no bins at Belle a Vue.

We will keep our promise to help Wakefield with a new ground it will be easier to redevelop Belle Vue.

They also said. I can assure you the first thing that will be built at Newmarket will be the ground.

Really? I was sure we were always told that a certain percentage of storage had to be built first? Also I'd imagine with all the housing around the ground it's not as easy as it sounds to start renovating it. I agree though it's gone a bit quiet.

Not sure what the recent gripe was about the ground but I noticed a definite difference on Friday.
Normally arrive late so crowd already in but was early for London and you could certainly see how the clean up operation and safety work had improved things.
It was a hell of a downpour so I'm not too worried about the flooding.
There were other ways to get out.

Calm Waters don't make good sailors If you help somebody as you go along then your life hasn't been in vain:

My Dad has been going to Belle Vue for 50+ years & its the first time he has seen the small drainage holes in the East stand wall for the pitch flowing out. It was one heck of a 15 minute intense spell of rain! Yet dry as a bone in Flanshaw & Horbury at the same time.

Meetings continue to take place and various parties have work to do. There won't be a Trust meeting until after T'Tour as I think Rodney will have his hands full with that until then.

Assuming it is BV, then this is a significant change resulting in a lot of work needing to be done.

I know that all parties are anxious to have something to present to supporters at the earliest opportunity.

No more to be said just now.
