But not all fans do feel that way. We've had worse seasons than this and supporters have tried to rally them rather than boo them.
If you are right and I'm on my own, then you'll hear me at the next home game as I'll be cheering them on, no matter what.

| Well they have one more game without supporters who I don’t think will take it well if our performances do not improve. Chester has been cocooned from the Wakefield supporters who we all know are not the most understanding. I hope he turns the team around.
We read every day of people being abused online I don’t agree with it in fact I am not on any of these types of platforms. The easiest way to avoid it is to remove yourself from these platforms which I believe Chester has done. It is a shame he had to do this and yes I want him removed because I feel he is failing in his job but like many I have never wished him or his family any harm which appears to be what you are suggesting PT.

| Part and parcel of any coaching job no matter what the sport ,you’ve got to have a thick skin to survive . You take the plaudits when your winning and have to take the criticism when your losing . From the bits I’ve seen on social media the vast majority of people are critical of his tactics not him personally, and would take those idiots that do with a pinch of salt anyway . Unfortunately in these days of social media you have to put up with it or come off it it’s that simple . You can turn to any event on Facebook or the like and the vast majority are respectful and polite ,but the few think it’s ok and big to hide behind the screen and spout abuse, it’s not on any level . Unfortunately it’s the sad reality of living in today’s society and the bubble of social media , and I don’t think it’s going to change anytime soon .

| If I was CC i would simply keep off social media sites, which are the scourge of modern society.
They're the perfect hiding place for gutless cowards, who have found the perfect way of hurting people without any comeback on them.
I'm of the older end now but I just don't understand the way these sites reel people in (particularly youngsters)
Reminds me very much of the social life around my school days, which thank god I grew out of, and have absolutely no wish to re-visit.

No he won’t they are not lovers.
MC has already stated he’s ready to go but will see the ground through, I think that’s pretty clear.

If MC does decide to move on after the ground upgrade ,it will be a much better place to try and attract new investors than when he turned up and basically took over a bomb site. He must have seen something in the old girl or he wouldn’t have put so much time and effort in keeping us on this eventful journey ,the belle vue rollercoaster , with all its ups and down ,twists and turns,, Whatever happens going forwards the club has to keep going at all costs . Players ,coaches even head honchos come and go but we must keep striving for that promised land ,if there is one .

I was there six weeks ago and it looks far worse than that.
I think when we go back a lot will be shocked as to just how awful it is, I was.

| Dread to think how much MC has tied into the club of his own money. Without him we’d of had no club, like him or loath him. For that he will always have my respect. Who in this current climate is willing to lose £100’s thousands, Millions trying to compete in SL, I’m pretty sure that’s what Davy has done. (could be wrong).

| It is ridiculous to suggest Carter should move on.
We should cling to him as long as we can.
Losing him would be far more damaging than losing or keeping a coach or player.

How do you know? Surely that depends on who replaces him?

I for one definitely don’t want MC to go pop tart and I have the fullest of respect for the man and what he has and is doing for our club. But if that day does come in the future ,we move on in a much better state than when he arrived . And to that end hopefully someone will be willing to take up the challenge , preferably with deep pockets .

Agree Mr Carter and Co have got the club to a good place of the field wiped out a million + det ( As much as the Huddersfield Chairman puts in to the club per season) Mr Carter said at the zoom meeting if we go down the club is in a good place to survive

[i#CherryPicking[/i
Even when you're cherry picking at the most extreme level (ignore 2019 before the injury crisis, count cup games, but only those against SL opposition) it's still only 8/42. in exactly 2 calendar years. which is where the knockers get their 19%.
If you think the rugby we've been playing over the last 'few' years has been shocking, I think you've got a short memory. 2015, now that was shocking. We conceded 929 points in 23 games that season (over 40 points per match) including the infamous 80-0 drubbing at Warrington.
It all depends on whether you believe there have been special / extenuating circumstances in the last 2 seasons or it's all down to coaching.
It's not good and we're in a bit of a hole, but this arbitrary selection of results is not reflective of reality.
On complete league seasons (where we play everyone)
2016 10/23 and average 8th in the league).
Be careful what you wish for.

My opinion also, apart from MC balancing the books, I believe he doesn’t take a salary as CEO. How much salary would a new incoming CEO require?. We have seen a previous chairman, (who sold the family silver) and his family members working at the club take substantial salaries at the time. I know MC rubs some people the wrong way, I don’t always agree with some things he says and does, but I’ll back him where the good of the club is concerned.
