Looks like Leeds had nearer a first team out than Trinity did, but it makes no difference at all as these games are a run out, to blow the cobwebs away. The result is totally irrelevant and means absolutely nothing for the season ahead.

Absoultely right, i cant see any leeds fans getting over excited just pleased at the signs of a few individuals and combinations.

Grow up. You seem to be the only one getting emotional about a pre season friendly. Leeds fielded a stronger team and done what they should of done, means nothing.

It means something for George King now with what looked like a very serious leg injury having to be stretched off. He was Trinitys best player up until getting injured running the ball in. Hope he's ok as he plays well above his size always making yardage.

Although only a friendly I'd expect more of a competitive match but it was very one sided with a very strong Leeds line up against quite a weak Wakefield one who were dominated in the forwards making easy yards and we created virtually nothing in the backs. If not for decent try line defence in the first half Leeds would have put 50 past us.

One of the most one sided Boxing Day friendlies I've seen for quite some time. Croft had a stinker but Atkins for me was the biggest let down. Kershaw going for glory at the end of the 1st half was even dumber than his professional foul that saved one try but ultimately let in three.
