Who are the best 17 Tricky? Brian Smith might have thought that was his best today, we don't know that. I would certainly have Ryan, Ashurst, Sio and Godinet when fit in the squad but that's just me. He's given them all a fair go in recent weeks but to me we've gone backwards with that second half today. We'll just have to hear what he has to say in the post match interview and then see what happens at Hudds.

Maybe Cas were very good!

The view from the end is not the best to make a judgement but I thought the lads down the middle did okay but were badly let down by the jokers out wide, specifically the right hand edge. That was were the game was lost.

Some pudding though. I have noticed that Paddy Flynn at Widnes always seems to get the better of him.
To be fair he does take some stopping when in full flight.

I'm not sure why conciding 50 "against Cas" is anymore embarrassing than conceding 50 against any other team. Indeed, conceding 50 to Cas (a team pushing for top 4, who finished 4th last year and made the cup final) is less embarrassing than conceding that amount against many other SL clubs.
I hope you are back in SL next year, a local rivalry is good for both teams and provides a good financial benefit to both with a high attendance. I would much rather see the back of Salford.
