Picking RL 4-5 times in a row tells me that he's prepared to give a young player a chance to prove himself, which at the start of the season he was doing very well.'"
A player selected does not make you " in the plans" it means he needed hinm to do a job
RL and Agars persistence in selecting him when CLEARLY out of form tells me some players are more "in the plans" than others.
You obviously see it differently.

| If Mariano has signed for Cas, there was always that possibility, with Powell now being Cas coach. Can't disagree that he has played well last two games, but we have played two out of sorts sides in Salford and London. Let's see how he goes next Monday at Hull. On the back of last years form, he was rewarded with a new deal for this season, but something wasn't quite right up to now. Maybe Agar doesn't want to have a player only playing at the top of his game when it's time for contracts to be renewed. As has been pointed out, we have plenty of cover in the back row. Make him an offer, but not worth breaking the bank for.

Yea I agree with you Al. Molloy and mellers were that bad he had no choice to bring MAriano back and Trout isn't upto it either. Don't blame Frankie for leaving. He wasn't a yes man he had personality something MR A cannot like. Hes basically said to Tuson if hes upto it no matter what he will be starting in the 2nd row wk in wk out next year. Mariano looked like a very good centre yesterday nobody on the line would stop frankie one on one in that position. Cas have a very good playher for next year.

Pretty much how I see it. Never quite understood the big hype about him when he wasn't in the side. It's as if he became a better player by not playing for us but that sometimes happens when out of the side. Sure he's had some good games and we could have done with him a bit earlier when the injuries started to mount up but he's also been missing in a fair number and usually against top 8 sides. Don't get me wrong I'd be happy if we kept him but if he goes good luck to him and we should be able to replace him if needed.

Why don't you offer to take Al out on a date, obviously after you have dumped Frankie. Just because Al is of a similar view to you on this issue it's quite embarrassing for all concerned that you try to justify your nonsense off the back of every statement he makes on this subject. If you believe in what you say then fine, have the courage to go with it on your own.

He makes it all up, he has no idea what either of them have said or think.
If either Frankie or Agar bumped into NGBC the first thing they would both say is "and you are who"?

well that would apply to most of the posters on here imo!NGB4C seems to get most things correct - once again imo
mariano for whatever reason 2 seasons on the trot seemed to be out of favour, until we get a couple injuries then he is in the team and looks more than worthy of a regular spot.
Re the castleford thing - as he doesnt have a contract next year at wakefield (fact) he is looking at all his options
I hope we keep him - has loads more potential than trout, molloy and yes even the sainted annikin

Maybe it's me but I just don't get this Mariano thing.
He's a decent enough player in a position where the club is fairly strong. He may or may not get on with Agar. However he's not good enough in the opinion of most fans to get to call the shots - he is no Gaz Ellis or Danny Kirmond.
This issue all seems to have been whipped up by his own personal stalker one here and is a mountain made from a teeny weeny mole hill for me.
I will put it this way - Frankie starts the season fairly poorly IMO - gets shipped out to Fev - comes back a better player in time to make his mark on the play offs and put himself in the shop window. At any other club that would be considered great work by Agar. But alas not at Wakey where we the fans remain negative and defeatist and convinced they are being sold short by the Board and the Manager and that all other clubs and coaches know better. This despite finishing top 8 last year and being in a similar position this.
Rejoice Trinity fans for christ sake - for those who can recall the clubs and the way it was pre 2004 you will know the clubs current state both on and off the pitch is pretty good. Two 40+ wins and a gate of 8000 for London, come on folks!!
If we are not at least heading in the right direction in these incredibly difficult times and thus should be happyish then why bother carrying on - I know it's not all perfect but then life rarely is.
Go Frankie, show us just how good you can be is what I say but then I say that to all the players.

Get out of the way you shouldn't be in here I'd assume.
I'm not claiming to know what Agar says to Frankie or vice versa. In fact I'd go further, nobody on this forum knows what's said and if they reckon they do they are deluding themselves.
The old regime was an open book and leaked info like a Cabinet office. The new regime seems as tight as a drum with none of the main people seemingly willing to gossip. Nobody I know who had the info does so anymore, they make educated guesses with what scraps they get.
Is it the right way to run a club, yes IMO.

I know he's your buddy but that is so wrong, what exactly has he got right. The pack of midgets, Hickey will be the best prop ever, Sykes is gash or the classic Washbrook cost us the Leeds game or best of all Kirmond the Hudds reject who isn't fit to wear the shirt. There are more if I could be bothered.

Does he, what exactly has he got right in this case and also according to him 90% of what he says is correct, come on who says stuff like that.
He doesn't have a clue what he's said to Tuscon, which is apparently no matter how he plays he's guaranteed a staring place next year, silly thing to say at this point, wouldn't you think.
As I remember it last season when NGBC was whinging about Mariano not playing, he kept getting told and shown articles where it proved he was injured for a fair bit of the start of last season, then played 15 games.
Just my opinion.
