Quote: Travelling Wilbury "Sadly, the way I see it is MC saved our club in 2013.

However, mates or no mates with Chessie, I just fear that if nothing happens with this, and it just continues to stagnate, then the hard work MC put in back then will come to no avail, and it will just look like we've just been given a stay of execution.

We're wanting to get more fans in, only performances like this will drive people away

Something has to happen and soon.'"

Was prepared to write last season off and start afresh this season but nothing has changed and once again we are sleepwalking towards relegation, even this early if nothing changes.

I admit I think Chester has reached his best before date at Wakefield, in fact I think it was reached before the start of last season. We have all endured periods of poor play but this is becoming the norm. I admire the loyalty that Carter shows towards Chester but if he wants to continue to enjoy the radio and tv appearances that comes with SL he is not going to get them after this season with Chester.
If anyone still believes Chester is not at fault please explain to me what he is doing right and why are we continuing to fail in attack. I have never once heard him or the club apologies to the supporters for the performances we have to endure on the field. They want our money but the product they produce could be classed as seconds.
We all know that with relegation it will be many years if ever we return to the top flight. The club can try to rectify the situation before it is too late but that must be without Chester who has been given more than enough time.
I would like to think Chester would now realise that for the good of the club he must resign or the club would remove him for the same reason.

I've never understood why someone would want an apology it's completely funking meaningless in the grand scheme. Chester's goose is cooked for me but the last thing I give a funk about
is him/them saying sorry. Achieves nowt

Maybe actually apologising for what's being served up and taking some responsibility for said rubbish? That would be a start, instead of the same biz post match interviews, he's no Tony Smith by not looking at the camera!

If any of those supporters who still believe in Chester can they explain why Castleford who have a similar squad to us seem to play good rugby winning the first three games. Is it possible they have a better coach who knows how to get the best out of his squad.

I've said it already tonight, George King looks like a different player to the one we had at Wakefield. Maybe that's because he has been given a specific role at HKR by a coach who knows how to get the best out of his abilities?

No surprise to me, King looked a good player at Warrington prior to joining us. Just his spell here he under performed, wonder why? He had to go though, he wasn’t near enough to his 30’s for a Chris Chester forward.

He's a starting prop, no use off the bench, he's not going to change the game. He's wasted 2 years of his development at Wakefield and can see Tanginoa going the same way. Play him at prop and waste all his destructive wide running power. You'd have thought that CC could see that from last season.

Not sure how you work that out that they have a similar squad to us, is that in numbers? or the 17 they put out, but you got the other bit right though, they have a better coach.

Every coach has a shelf life no matter which club your talking about , most coaches instigate this themselves when they feel things are getting stale and they have taken the team as far as they can.Usually that coach is wanted by bigger clubs to further their cause as their track record speaks volumes about their quality .And there lies the problem my friends , we’re at the bottom of the pile and there are quality coaches sat at home twiddling their thumbs .
So it’s easy to see why the only way our head coach will leave is forcibly, kicking and screaming .

Unfortunately Castlefords squad if FAR FAR superior to ours,in fact there are very very few of ours that even get in the 17 at Castleford.
Our squad is average at best and paper thin
What I don't want to hear and keep hearing is how good TJ is,you can only be a good player if you actually play and are on the field.
Changes need to happen NOW before it's too late and relegation happens because if it does happen that is the end of us

The fixture lists provided C C with a lucky break.
Didn't expect a win against any of the opening games in truth.
We should have beat Leeds the other 2 you can forget about.
I b thought a review should take place after 5 or 6 games with at leadt some targets agreed.
I'm still of the opinion we are probably the least coached side and tend to give Big Dave, Miller and Topu a free range and rely on individuality.
Something will have to give sooner rather than later,
I'm over the moon about A F but can he be the insperation that Chester seems incapable of providing,.
