In a physical sport like rugby league, you can't put all your eggs in one basket. One superstar and you can't afford the other decent players, and you are one injury from a disastrous season.

The answer short term for me is sort these sloppy plays out that sadly we are still doing even at this late stage of the season . Fitness wise we can keep pace with the best teams is those little things in the game that were missing, Don’t know if that’s a player thing or a coaching thing .when it all drops into place we beat the best , when it doesn’t we struggle.
We’re not far off and we have the playing roster , it’s the little bits we’re not doing right that are coming back to bite us time and again

Cas have the best pack in the league IMO which helps. Moors, Millington and that double barrelled name guy are all monsters. Also a lot gets said about his lack of trophies but it must help them to have the best attacking coach in the league (even if I do think there may be more to that than meets the nose).

Exactly my view chissitt,the kid or his agent are being painted as greedy gets but unti someone comes out and say whats been offered and whats been turned down its all rumour. Like you the kids no mug he knows what we can afford so im sure he wont be wanting outlandish money but he will know what others at the club are being paid and i cant see him trying to outdo anyone at the club ,but in my view the lads got the potential to develop into a good scrum half and has such deserves a reasonable contract.just as afterthought the cas fan on here says hes seen holmes, reynolds and hamshire at cas and rates holmes as the best ,im sure i havent seen them as much as him but on what i have seen i put holmes as the worst of the three ,reynolds a good football brain but lacks pace and a bit iffy when the going gets tough of course this is just my opinion

I don't think a World beater 7 is the answer to unlocking a top 4 place.
To be certain, we'd need to strengthen half the team.
As that is not possible from a financial perspective, we have to get the best from what we can afford.
That is our game, getting the best from what we have and strengthening bit by bit over time.
Chezzy and the staff as a whole are building something, with limited resources granted, but they are gathering a squad and playing ethos to challenge, Rocky needs to be part of that, we need Rocky to be part of that not in the stand watching a marquee 7 not making the difference.
