Max Jowitt is head and shoulders above Craig hall at fullback. Totally committed in attack and defence and safe as houses under the high ball. A star in the making along with Tom .

Vastman you say not fast like Johnstone Hall who would have backed him to chase and catch an international winger like he did on Good Friday so he aint no slouch the lad could go on to be one of the best all round fullbacks we have ever had. As they say it also depends how he reacts after a poor game and I think his attitude will pull him straight through any dip he might have. It looks like we have unearthed a gem in the hardest position to play on the field where you cant be a shrinking violet

Exactly my point, with all the other boxes ticked pretty quick is all he needs to be a devastating F/B.

If you recall Matt Blaymire had all the other attributes but his total lack of speed meant he could never join the elite evn though he did a good job for us.

How good is Max?? He gets better and better, the things he does at his age are outstanding!! His kick for BJB in the last two mins of a game summed it up for me, Fabulous to see a young Wakey lad performing week in, week out!

The 1st try came from his speedy half break and off the ground off load. There was also a towering bomb that came down with snow on it, handled with ease a micro second before he took a massive hit. The kick through on 77 minutes was the icing on the cake.

Outstanding. first name on the team sheet for the next however many years. Max Jowitt FB closely followed by Tom Johnson Wing. What a player Jowitt is them lines he runs in attack in all parts of the pitch are devestating. What a player.

I expect to see Tom Johnstone move off the wing within the next year tbh.
