View from the other side of the fence is that Frankie was cutting corners in training, so who's the idiot: the guy who doesn't put in a proper shift, or the guy who drops him?

I don't have a problem with players being given the opportunity to re-focus elsewhere. I don't want our club seen as the easy option, even if we do lose a few games in the short term as a result.

What kind of proof would you like?

I didn't attend the training sessions, surprisingly enough. I can only go by what the coach is reported to have stated, the assumption that it's in his interest to win games, and that it's in the best interests of the club and the team for every player, good or average, to pull their weight. Do you have any proof to the contrary?

Agar did make comment about Frankie (cutting corners)and he also made comment about Amor and he did drop him for a week so i have no problem with him shipping a player out if he needs a kick up the jacksie, if he can welcome the player back.

Thats how it has to be but it also needs to happen to ALL players and include cutting corners on match day.

Agree, but based on the last 2 performances we would not have a sevens squad let alone one for a SL match.

Agreed but it appears we haven't welcomed Mariano back and some posters state because of a loan contract issue he is staying at Fev for the rest of season. I'm all for some discipline if needed but there is also a saying 'don't cut your nose off to spite your face'. He should have been starting in second row today.

Shame really. I think Mariano is a player that improves us when he's in the 17.

Yes I remember reading it after it got brought up in here at the time, haven't got a clue where it was though.

So from what I understand whilst officially Walshaw & Mariano are still officially WTW players, they are on non-returnable loans until the end of their contracts at the end of the season. Dewsbury agreed to 'loan' Walshaw back to us so he could play yesterday but Featherstone refused to do the same for Mariano. If either club want to keep the players they can and there is nothing we can do about it, despite reportedly still paying part of their wages.
