Quote: tigerman10 "can't speak for the warrington fans, but the fact that it's open on the corners makes it one hell of a draughty place and the stands dont seem to be of the best construction, when we played them the other year you could feel the stand vibrate when everyonr jumped up and down after a try was scored, but as has been said before if it meant a place in SL it would do for me.'"
Oh is that the reason thursday boy obviously you never visited wilderspool cos the corners there where open to. icon_rolleyes.gif

is this gospel or wishful thinking, we all know how long planning permission takes and the newmarket site is contaminated land, how are your lot gonna get round that, then theres the funding issue, can you really be chasing a new stadium with the taxman getting all nasty on your s,. not a wum, hope you get the pityard almost as much as i hope cas ground comes off.

NO GROUND SHARE THOUGH, ID SOONER CHEW MY ARM OFF THAN BE ASSOCLATED WITH YOUR RABBLE AND I THINK MOST OF YOUR LOT FEEL THE SAME

Quote: CHESHIRE CAT 57 "No slur mate but the last tigerman who came on here said broughy would be a Bull by thursday gone just shows how little he knew. As for the warrington community stadium i work less than a mile from there and i think you will find its the best thing thats happened warrington rl in a very long time just look at the avarage attendances since leaving wilderspool.'"

ok then, that was another tigerman i guess, and yes the new warrington stadium is a very good ground, you were just asking what the faults were with the ground and as i said i am not speaking for wire, fans they were just a couple of things i noticed myself that with a bit more planning would not have been a problem, as somone else has said the new ground is going to be for life so get it right first time.

Its Gospel, Architects have been appointed and plans drawn up.

Newmarket is not contaminated land it has already been restored by LRD see link www.lrdlimited.co.uk/case_studie ... liery.html

Its not our Stadium, its a Community Stadium therefore we are not funding it. Funding will come from the developer and grants that can be obtained for a community stadium rather than owning it yourself which makes funding more difficult.

How long will planning take - I don't know

Question for you - have you got all the funding in place for yours.

I really hope we both achieve our aims and play each other in new Stadia.

Ok i'l be nice and say your all not related and it must be another Tigerman, Wigan, Hull fc, and Huddersfield, have grounds with no open corners off hand that i can think of so you must have a problem with every other super league ground.,

i cant see much point having this conversation with you mate, i dont have a problem with it my point is that if the design hadnt been rushed there would be no problem with the warrington ground at all.
