| Quote: Prince Buster "Those old portacbins on breeze block legs must have been up there at least 30 years. Its like looking at an unkept alotment. They just look an old cheap bodge job. The grounds looks would be massively improved if they were demolished. It would cost little to do this and could be done whilst East stand is levelled. How on earth such a structure can be tolerated in a sports ground of a proffesional club in these modern times is beyond belief .'"
the firm that did the mosque at the back did a quote for rough costing and back then £500k was mentioned just for the demolition and removal of groundwork, asking why he told me the tarmac has a high risk of carcinogenic properties and doubtful it could be recycled making it a problem to discard

I also feel that West side is by far the worst part of the ground and as far as I know there are no plans to do anything for sometime if ever.
Its great that we are having a fantastic new stand but anyone sitting in it ,that West side will be right infront of them. It will still give the impression that a major part of the ground is not up to standard.
Finally that part of the ground has terracing too shallow and impairs viewing. You have to walk through the filthy surrounding streets to get access. Although the general state of the grounds surround is beyond the clubs influence. Nevertheless we insist the away supporters are subject to such a negative experience there is little wonder we get such negative comments.'"
Hi PB.
Sadly we can thank Trinity’s endless bad luck. Myself with the help of Klav came up with a plan to sort the west terrace. A two phase job. Very basic but neat. MC/JM we’re smitten.
It was hoped there might have been enough cash left to do phase one.
Sadly a massive hike has put an end to tha for now. If we’d have started the rebuild 18 months ago it would probably have happened.
PM me you email address and I’ll send you the plans. No big deal now

Am I alone in thinking Saints celebrations were way OTT after the win, I felt they were mocking our lads. No way was it such a big win for them that it required the response they gave. That club has no decorum at all.
Vile club, nasty fans.'"
yep I agree they are a disgusting club in fact they have forgotten about the e hole they played out of

I think that even a fire exit door cannot be propped open and we would certainly be asked to closed it but it doesn’t matter. We should have bigger cosmetic improvements to make.

Snowie,
I am talking about those few portacabins on concrete blocks . They would cost very little to get rid of. If they are left there when the new stand arrives the will stand out even more. Its like building a brand new house and plonking an home made greenhouse of discarded window frames and old doors in the back garden.

Yes i can understand that. For what its worth , the small amount left after the new stand would have gone on the west terrace. Its the worst part of the ground by far and a little investment there would yeild the greatest benefit.
Like I said before, we push away fans in there. So if you leave an open goal dont be duprised if the opposition score an easy goal.

The state of the surrounding streets is out of the clubs control. We can't be blamed for that.

You’ve been watching a very old comedy sketch about 4 Yorkshire men.
