| As fans you don't have to just blindly accept what goes on. The pre season games we were clueless and pathetic. We now have won 4 of the last 20. The dads army recruitment and loyalty to under performers is ridiculous. No kicking game, we look like schoolboys against men. Smell the coffee, in 12 months we've gone back 5 years and in danger of not just relegation but even existing.

I agree about us going ok last year with everyone fit (apart from the opener at London).
However, KR have brought in 20 players and yet, they looked to have a plan on how they were going to play and despite making errors themselves and conceding plenty of penalties, we were just awful.
Every time we tried to build some pressure, there would be yet another handling error.
Personally, I believe that, just like London last season, we believed that all we had to do was turn up and that the two points would be ours.
That side were not prepared mentally, KR on the other hand were.
Brough missing for a while will really test us as without him, we dont have a serious kicking game.
Looks like a long, long season ahead.

Yeah thats what I mean, I know it was pretty bad but I dont think we can read too much into it, impossible to get any kind of rhythm out of a team thats dropping the ball every 2 mins. We were in it until last 10 mins but just couldnt get anything to stick.
Not ideal but we wont have another game this year with so many handling errors.

| Only some of us Kingross.
FWIW, I don’t mind the Wigan of more recent years on the whole.
A bit of young, local talent mixed in with a bit of aggression.
Maybe at times, we play, as a team, a bit soft.
Would do the club good, bringing in some of the old ticker to some players. Might be something we lack

| Only just got back home
The longest drive of my life
I really can’t think of a match where we’ve played worse
The only thing I can think is that in the pre season training, Chester has instructed the team to practise knocking the ball on and giving penalties away
Had being looking forward to the match all month too
We have to do better
I believe we are much better than what I saw this eve

We've been that for about 4 years but relied on individual off the cuff brilliance to get results. Johnstone, Tupou, Fifita and even Hampshire aren't bailing you out at present.

Yes the fact that the same problems going back the best part of 18 months seem to remain is a major concern but he has to be given a chance to turn it around. If in another 6 or 7 games time the same problems persist then it may well be time to act, but until then he has the chance to prove people wrong. Over to Chester.'"
He's had his chance to turn it around. He failed. We lost badly to the team everyone is tipping for relegation. If he doesn't go now, it'll be us who are relegated.

| Frustrating following a loss and poor performance. Similar to last season really. But we got our act together to go 3rd and after London no one would have thought that. We're always going to have some knee jerk fans and some positive whatever fans. It's just in different people's makeup.
There'll be some bum kickings and changes for Catalan and we go again.

| I must say legend, I was scratching my head with some, and even some contract renewals.
Prepared to give them a chance in the red, white and blue, but yes, last night did prove a point.
I also thought that teams that finished around us in the league have done better recruitment in the off season than us.
Now, with the Brough situation, I think we may need to review our thoughts on bringing in another forward, long term at least, though not just anyone, a proper organising half, the question is though, are there any available. I know we have Rocky, but hes covering full back too.

Jowett and Walker can cover fullback between them. Hampshire sees himself as a half and now has an opportunity to show everyone he's good enough to take it.

Personally I thought Westerman was our best player.

He might but I don't. I actually think Jowitt looked better in the halves against Huddersfield than Hampshire has.
Just my opinion and I know it will no doubt upset lots of folk but I think Rocky still has a long way to go to establish himself as a quality half back.

| One game in and people already having a meltdown Let's face it, not as bad as last seasons opener and we were sitting in 2nd/3rd at the half way point until an avalanche of injuries hit. Yes it's concerning, but I think people would've kicked off and baying for Chessies blood even if we scraped a win or lost by 2 points. All this negativity on social media by our own fans can't have a positive effect on the team or confidence, but hope we get a better reaction from them next week and start to build some momentum while we start getting some bodies back.
