Quote: PopTart "I have looked and you'd be surprised how small some of our crowds were.

I also think the word "discrace' is way too strong and shows and lack of understanding of where we have been for the last 40 years.'"

Good god man you are literal at times, it's just there for a bit of passion and spice, I'm fully aware of the situation but for a club that made its name as cup kings it's still fairly disgraceful wouldn't you say. In that forty years Fev, Cas and Sheffield have won it and even London have been, it's the one competition we've always had a punchers chance in, unlike the title which I've never felt us capable of winning. Come on PT break away from your contrary programming for once.

I just disagree with you. Can't see your problem.

I certainly don't understand your "taking me literally" comments. If you write it down, make sure you mean it and can back it up. If not, what was the point if we are supposed to understand that you only half meant it.

To call a team a disgrace for not making a final is just not accurate. By all means tell me why it is.

The RL Project site reckons our average SL attendance this season was 5300. Not sure how accurate that is though.

I've always found it be accurate in the past.

I don’t know when the photo with Hawley Plant Hire was taken, that’s on the Website today but Chris Green and Morgan Escare are in it ?

They all look like cardboard cutouts, particularly the one of Chris Chester, but don’t tell him I said so.

Yes disgrace is OTT. It's luck of the draw. We've had two semis. V Warrington we were decimated by injuries. V Hull it's true that was the one that got away. A dreadful start blew it. I seem to recall many tough early round draws. We have two trophies to play for. It's harsh to criticise in that situation. We were damn unlucky in 2004 and 2017 not to be within a match of the grand final. I'm proud of our achievement of 20 top flight years. We should not be too critical

The LE express has reported we are in discussions with Chris Green and also suggest we have signed Tangata so there’s the 2 props (possibly)

I'd be utterly delighted with that. I thought Green was the best prop for the last few games and Tangata showed up well. In fact, if you look at the last three games those two were standouts.

So that's (if true)

Fifita
Koppy
Green
King
Tangata
Arona
Gwaze

TBH I think thats a far stronger line up than last season Hirst and a crocked England.

and (if true) Tangata and Green are not new to the club, they will be aware of our systems etc and what we are about as a club. They've both dipped their toe in the water.
I'd be happy with both of 'em.

I think its also worth noting that for example if we were to play Fifita, Koppy, King and Green for example as the props in the first 17 then you could have in the back row, Tanginoa, Westerman, Ashurst and Arona in the back row. That's a sizeable back row that can also gain hard yards meaning a nice spread of the workload, looks good to me. Then you could add Crowther or Batchelor for a bit of youthful enthusiasm.
