I will submit and rethink to be fair, you’re probably right. At the moment with 55 SL games Max obviously has the experience however I won’t be surprised in a few years time to see Hooley as our number 1.

Kirmond and Amnakin definitely to go for me, I think. Kirmo is too injury prone, and it isn't just this year. Would be interested to see what % of games he has played since about 2015, and I think we get more out of Jordy and Batch to be honest than what we get from Annakin.

Not sure about Pauli. For me think he does need to get in better condition. If he did that, than I do think we've a good player on our hands. Maybe an extension, but with a condition of his fitness within the contract.

Randell is a tough one. He has had his injury problems, but he is a good player, and he balances well with Wood. His latest injury he had been carrying a while, and maybe that is why he has appeared to play within himself.

Think it's hard to call on Baldwinson, as hes barely featured since been here.

In a nutshell, for me, we need to freshen up our front row. Engy has been good, but has started to pick up more knocks and they're taking longer to heal, so maybe he should be used more sparingly now. Back up prop maybe, I think Huby may be finished. Hirst not sure, as you cant keep everyone.

That leaves the half back situation. I've been critical of Miller in recent weeks, and I think its justified, but you don't turn into a bad player overnight. Maybe its the burden of captaincy effecting him. I am a big Rocky fan, and would love to keep him, but no player bigger than club, regardless of who they are.

I do agree regarding the posts on MCB, and for me if we did, he would be first choice in 2020.

Who knows, one of the new players could be a leader, which I do think we lack.

IIRC I'm sure I remember MC talking about how many full backs we had under contract for next season & he said that there was something going on with regard to Hooley which he couldn't go into at the moment. No idea what he was referring to?

I have watched Holley play several times, he is quite a good player, not sure of SL level yet, but, each time I have seen him play i took notice, he lacks real pace, some thing you need in SL , !!!!!

Would you say that’s something that Max has? Pace?

Max as enough pace, think Crowther could be one to go as well

Dreadnought, Max does have more pace than Hooley, Max ran a try in off Fifita from half way, out pacing the defence something Holley has not done & cannot do. However, I grant you that there are faster full backs than Max, but not many can play cut out passes as accurately consistently as Max, certainly not Holley yet !

Desperately need some power up front , glaringly obvious when fifita not on the park how we struggle going forward.Our back line is as good as I’ve every seen at belle vue when all in the park but can’t perform miracles without the forwards laying that platform .For me kirmond has been a top club man but hard to keep on the park ,Hirst for his build/size should be an enforcer but not lived up to it , Pauli has been in holiday mode too long and if this loan hasn’t shaken him up well he’s taking a valuable place up front as well , England has been good but has fallen off somewhat so I hope he can find his game again .Just my take on things
