| Anyone heard the rumour of the council taking out a £15m loan which will be underwritten by MC & paid for by the rent which we currently pay to use BV? Taken from the Cas forum btw before someone shoots me down..

| I keep opening these "Peter Box" threads only to be repeatedly disappointed.

Either someone on that forum as some super inside knowledge or they're just repeating what's been posted on here and the VT recently, about what MC said some time ago.

I suppose it's a case of putting 2+2 together. In all fairness it's just about the only option left for Box.

one of their supporters has commented on Scunny selling their stadium and called for it rebuilt at WR which would make a good idea, just like Fev did its not like its difficult to do, given the tools a rebuild is a cheaper option.
I'm not working at the moment it would give me something to do

As long as your doing the rebuild at Wakefield and not risking contamination at Cas

| I've just been reading their forum, it's quite funny especially since a few of them have been lecturing us these last few years regarding the NM debacle. Nothing has even been announced yet & could yet be just more Box guff!
In all serious, if this £15 million loan is correct, much as I'd love to stop at BV it would be sensible now to agree on a suitable venue & sort out both clubs. I've just put my crash helmet on lol.

That's the best idea this year by a mile, as long as it's called "The Neil Fox Stadium"

I have and never have had an issue with a ground share if the location was suitable, I think it makes a whole lot of sense. Remember in around 2010 when the Council called for us to ground share and they would finance it? Yet Mr Richardson told them where to stick it and went down the route Newmarket route, would we be playing out of a new ground now if we had gone the other route? Who knows... I think the fear upon many fans is they think that this is the first step towards a merger of the two clubs.

Agreed but, IF a ground had a genuine 50/50 split in usage and 50/50 in other areas (including a "neutral" location) it would make plenty of sense.
When ever a shared ground has been muted before, one side or other would have been seriously disadvantaged, which would make any ground share unworkable and just for balance, what about Fev ??
