The Duck does some decent real ale as well.
Granted it's not brewed in Wakefield but it's a decent pot

Except that we could do with both of them.

| On the whole i don't think Child had a particularly bad game at Warrington, it's as someone previously mentioned, it's the inconsistency that's his downfall. Classic example was the penalty just before half time. Wire player gets up to play the ball and takes a step forward and we get penalised for obstruction at the play of the ball. To everyone else it could have, and in my opinion should have been a penalty to us for moving off the mark.

I don't really drink ale, but I assumed Fernandes would be the place to be. More of an apple juice drinker myself
Anyway, blow to be missing Fifita. I said i thought we'd get beat by Warrington. The good thing is we are competing in the games so far against the quality teams. I feel Cas will be the biggest test so far. They're better than Wigan and Warrington. I really think we could do with a win here psychologically against one of the big boys but I think we will lose by 8.

I mentioned that on the Warrington board. It was blatantly moving off the mark and it was so blatantly ignored by Child.

we could have done with them both last week too, but one of them wasn't playing
I thought Arona played ok last week, but he was blowing a bit in the 2nd half.
If he was (niggles aside) "due" a week off last week and ended up having to play, then you'd expect he'd probably get a break this week.
Except, big Dave is still crocked so he's back in the firing line.
Not a straight swap for Fifita I know but I think mebbe Arona is being managed a bit, on one hand he could do with a break but on the other he's a strong squad member and a definite compromise if he doesn't play.
I see him playing, but short minutes mebbe.

| Think we will struggle without big Dave not sure the Warrington Forwards would have ripped us apart if he had been playing, hope Batcheler and Crowther get a chance over the weekend

Not been in there since Christmas, don’t mind the beer but it’s a little bit of an old mans pub!

So we will struggle without big Dave but you hope two young lads get a chance over easter? Have you really thought about that post?

| We need to at least win (yes a must win) 1 of these 2 Easter games.
Otherwise sorry guys but I fear for our top 8 position.

| You do get some good guest ales in the Ruddy Duck, and they change them often, giving variety.
I was in there last week, and they had on Wainwrights and Hobgoblin, two decent beers.
