I’m actually looking forwards to taking the dog for a walk this evening, a far cry from twelve months ago, nearly to the day, when I felt like kicking her down the street.

Took son-in-law to game today. I will tryand take him every game - but it's a long way down from Aberdeen! He said I was speechless at 30 -0 and from then on didn't know what to say. Absolutely brilliant display today. Took me back 50 years.

Me and the missus were the scoreboard operators in the '80s and had the dubious pleasure of putting the score of Wigan 72 Wakefield 0 on the scoreboard at the south end of the ground at that time (can't remember the exact year, but no doubt someone will come along soon who does remember ??).
I am finally pleased to say that almost 30 years later we have finally avenged that defeat
