Now let's be honest, if this £10 offer does attract plenty more people to the terraces it'll only be for that one game. I'm pretty sure non of you are that naïve to think its gonna kick start a resurgence of the masses returning.
I agree its a nice little gesture to raise gate receipts, but that's all it is, a gesture.
Let's all remember that at the beginning of the season you lot were slating people for only buying the clubs cut price season tickets and not renewing a full price one YET now you're all heroes for rounding up the troops for.... Yes you've guessed it, CUT PRICE TICKETS! Foot in mouth moment for a few I think.
Anyway, I'll keep my £10 in my pocket and go buy a 50p mix up from the shop, sit on the change and watch the game on sky.'"
Nobody ganged up on anyone.
I simply pointed out using the posters own comment that he was wrong.
If others disagreed also I guess it was down to his posting style rather than the length of forum life.
As for the £10 deal if that's where your interest lies, my views have been made very clear in the past, feel free to have a look back, and they haven't changed much since then.
You keep your £9.50, but at least I won't have to listen to Eddie and Stevo!!

| The £10 bring a friends a start, but why not extend that to the ticket price. I'm sure even more would be tempted to a Thursday night sky game that probably not flooded with away support or many home fans.

Tbh I was confused with your reply to him, he started with "question" and ended with a "?", but I'll make it clear that I'm not try nor wanting to debate that. Sometimes on here all you see is words, lots of them and but very little points being made.
I do remember there was cut price tickets for the London game and that did very little (granted London do travel light) so perhaps more brain storming is needed from those in comfy office chairs. The club need not fail but more has to be done and only they can do it no matter how much chatter is going on in here.
I do have the opportunity to attend tonight but as I've said I'm not going to but what would be interesting is those who are bringing friends for £10 to ask them if they're gonna come to the next home game at full price. If the answer is no then post the reasons why then maybe MC and the boys will start to have an idea where to begin addressing attendance issues.

Are you not one of "Us lot". We all support Wakefield. Don't you?
And what's the big deal. If the £10 tickets get people to come to the game and they only watch that game, we got some extra money.
Enjoy the game

After 7 points out of 8 I would have though any fan who had the opportunity to go, would go.
Had it been after the no show at odsal, I wouldn't have blamed you! but that seems a bit strange.

I'll not refer to the debacle of the "confiscated bottle" and a certain moderator which would make my point valid but may I also point out why no one has asked why I'm not attending?
Secondly, I'll go to the "us lot" comment. Sadly I'm not savvy enough to do multiple quotes in a post but on here it is a case of the regulars and the irregular posters and if people dare break the mold and display other opinions then they are subject to a barrage of total disagreement (like now!). Continuing from that, I go back to what I said, when season tickets went back up to full price regulars on here moaned like mad about those who didn't renew but now we have a cheap day its fine, come on guys we have a gross display of double standards.

Crowds are down, and we're trying to get a few more speccies through the gate for a game, that's on sky, on a Thursday, against a club from the other side of t'hills, so not many travelling fans.
Can't see anything wrong with that, you obviously have a different view from your armchair.

No it's obviously a 1 game offer. maybe interspersed with the off game vs London or Catalan. Worth a shot. If we carry on with no action, we'll have no fans left, then all you whingers will be left sat there scratching your backsides wondering what happened to Wakefield Trinity.

Interesting
Last night the action the club took to get more fans through the turnstiles was "ST holders bring a friend for a tenner", which i think worked last night as Widnes only brought about 50 supporters.
I asked should the club make the remaining 3 home games a tenner, to which you said no, but then in your next breath your saying, if we carry on with no action, we'll have no fans left.
So what other action could you advise the club to take, to get more spectaters down for the last 3 home games.

Can i ask you a question?
What other action do you think the club SHOULD have to take after supplying the people of Wakefield with a team that has take 9 points from 10, and beaten Leeds and Wigan in front of their own fans??
MyPOV is that the club can always and should always be doing something, but when oh when are the people going to be prepared to pay for it?
I'll answer your question, if the club want to get the missing spectators back down for the last three games, most of them will need picking up from home or the pub, will need paying into the game, and will need at least a free pie or pint or both.
This isn't about the club, its about the people...plain and simple.

Agreed. The club have done their bit with 9 points from 10 on home soil. It's now up to the people of Wakefield to decide if they want to come and be a part of it.
