To me if we have a licence that is upto scratch which it will; surely it wont come down to that. We would be able to sue the hell out of the RFL . You cant play around with a clubs future on a penalty shoot out so to speak. They may aswell play rock, paper, scissors. RFL cannot be that hard faced.

The RFL will do exactly what they thinks best for the game, end of.

More likely what they think is best for the RFL, not necessarily the game. Hopefully all the improvements that AG is instigating will be considered by them.

You are applying logic to an illogical situation. There parameters laid down by the RFL are so loose they can make a case for any decision they want and justify it. People are also focusing on the ground as though if we get that sorted we are 100% when in reality it is only part of the licensing criteria

I accept that the parameters are very loose, at the end of last season I would have said that they could shift us with little more than a whimper, I am much more positive as the season ha gone on that shifting us now is going to be a little more tricky.
I seriously think that they have a plan b now which is a 15 team SL.
As for the ground it was our Achilles heel and was rightly focused on, however the new owner has focused on all aspects of the business, gone public with a lot of it, and I think that has made us a much stronger franchise candidate.
All very logical I know, and that isn't one of the RFLs strengths, but I think we have made them sit up and listen.
Just my thoughts, I'm sure there'll be plenty to tell me how wrong I got it in a few more weeks.

The criteria is twistable and will be twisted to suit.

The problem with the franchise system is the total lack of transparency. If the RFL want to keep us in and kick Cas out or keep Crusaders in and kick us out or any other permutation that you can think off, they will. I'm afraid it's as simple as that due to the lack of transparency! They can justify it by putting weight on any single reason they see fit. This is just one of the reasons I hate franchising so much. In reality we have Promotion and relegation by choice!

According to the preamble on Yorkshire Sport we will now be the team to go because..........................

The RFL owe them from the Wigan salary cap breech a few years back!!!!!
I haven't checked the franchise rules recently but I'm sure it wasn't one of the criteria!!!!!!!
