Could understand this, we should be more supportive of a player with a back injury if he had played for us on the pitch for a year or two ,but he had a operation on is back at Castleford  ,Played less than half the matches at Hull .in over 2 year Hull let him go with a year left  on his contract ,Know we let him go back on lone ,but do not think he played for them again  .He as been a bad signing and fans keep telling me he is class, how do you come to that decision when he as played 5 games for us ..Once any player as to start having injections in is back it is bad news .He can kick a ball ,but think every 6 in S L can do that .That does not make him class .My main worry is he could go out on the pitch, and get a bad knock on back that could do a lot of damage Why as a club should we have that responsibility when we are heading in the right decision big time

Pitts is playing just as good as when Westerman played for us. I thought Westermsn was fantastic for us and Pitts is equally as good in my opinion. I’d be over the moon if Pitts signed a one year extension, he’s been incredible. 

Some folk are never happy! Pittsy's been one of our stand out performers this year, and one of SL's top performers too. We have a ready made successor in Cozza, plus one or two others that could fill the role almost seamlessly. His contribution off the field is regularly praised by Powell...if he wants to put his body through another year he'd be worth every penny.

Surprised it's 2 years but he's showing no signs of his fitness failing him so why not.
Cozza is a great replacement or backup over that time.

He’s a class player. His Stats are phenomenal. He’s a quality ball handling 13 who’s playing the best RL of his career. He’s obviously very well respected amongst the players and is an absolute leader. I’m very happy with this. 

Well done Jay Pitts. A players reward for their high standard of play is to get a new contract with the team around them and that is what Jay Pitts as deservedly done. What i cannot understand alegend is that you see this as "underwhelming" Having been fortunate enough to watch his career unfold from when he first played for us up till present day, I can honestly say that he is playing the best form of his career. Like I wrote earlier if you play well enough you deserve to be rewarded for your endeavours, if other players want new contracts then they have to match JPs commitment.
