As long as they are giving it away for nothing then shelling out £15million to build a stadium on it then it shouldn't be a problem. If it ever got planning permission from our ever helpful council that is.

Is this where the Castle Grove Park rumour mentioned earlier came from? More chance of us being able to level the town hall and build on top of that than getting permission for there i would have thought. The public outcry would be massive.

MC has just tweeted his support for Halifax RLFC in relation to an article stating that the club is taking the Council to arbitration for picking and choosing which clauses of an agreement the Council decides to enforce in relation to their ground. That tells me all I need to know about fault in Trin's case.

If we are so certain of our case we are perfectly entitled to do the same. I can't believe Halifax are better funded than us, so I presume it is not entirely money related. I wonder if we are using the council as a means to an end I.e. We want to go to Dewsbury.

Has it been confirmed that the 'other' ground is Dewsbury, or is everyone assuming?
