Both teams did well in the rain tbh , but Crigg soon found the gaps in the E/L defence & never looked in danger . Good of the E/L coach to applaud our rugby afterwards & realise that we're not just a one man team .

All the best from all of us at Crigg Rob- looks like a real tough one for your lads , but from what Skirlaugh were telling us just tackle hard & you've a v. good chance .
Just hope our lads play their best & the nerves don't take over ( I know I'll be cacking it !  ). |

i know what you meen about the nerves,i think we will be having a low key training week has we really trained hard in the build up to the hull dockers game and it really got the better of one or two kids and we ended up putting in our worst performance of the year. |

If its half as tough as our game with Lock Lane it will be a battle royal.
Best wishes to one of our lads who can't be considered to play as he has just come through surgery today for a fractured lower arm. Thoughts are with him!

captain of our young uns school team came home yesterday to tell us Ketty high have a game with out wood on Friday  think that if the game goes ahead a large contingent of the team will be missing . semi final weekend and most parents not keen on seeing young uns get tired or injured for a friendly that can be rearranged.
if all is the same at your end i think you have at least 2 players at the grange which im sure you will be glad don't have to play twice in 2 days. |

Turns out Fridays game isn't a " friendly " - it's a qualifier on the road to wembley ... so semi final or not , young sponge wants to play ! |
