I rememebr a lot of very happy Trinity fans celebrating our survival but don't recall much in the way of taunting Cas fans. I actually felt for you lot as i would have done for fans of any club (well apart from Leeds, Wigan and Huddds perhaps). The important word in your post is "relegated" ie. you went down because your performance on the pitch wasn't good enough. The whole franchising farce has produced this petty squabbling amongst the fans of the vulnerable clubs. Personally I think it stinks. I would prefer trinity to survive in super league but not at Cas's expense. Two well run clubs could make the district a powerhouse of rugby league with the added spice of fantastic local rivalry. Unfortunately I think the gang at Red Hall are too thick to recognise this.

AG states that Oakwell is no longer being considered.

Ag then submits our application for franchise and in it we have Oakwell tied up for three years....Boom,RW out-manoevered!!

AG has stated that Oakwell hasn't gone onto the application at the RFL's behest. Probably to make the decision easier for themselves.

It really pee's me off that we have rolled over for the RFL regarding Oakwell.

We do seem to have made it easy for them. Sorry but whatever we could do to BV between the end of September and the beginning of February isn't going to bring it up to superleague standard. If we haven't based the application on Oakwell then we've scored a massive own goal because IMHO it was the only thing that could have got us the nod over Cas.

Probably why the RFL wanted to dissuade Trinity from using Oakwell. From the outside it does look a bit suspect.
