Not for one minute suggesting any foul play, but I would've thought given his performances over the last year a club in SL with a quota space free would snap him pretty quickly.

Whatever the reason, he is a loss to the club and will be very hard to replace. Certainly no one available comes anywhere near taking his place

I mentioned this a few pages back, i personally would not be surprised if another club, with a quota spot available had taken advantage of his contract situation with Wakefield and he could have fielded a superior verbal offer earlier in the season.

A mistake that cost him and us his contract. Maybe he'll get picked up elsewheer but that's most likely to be a last minute fix

what a rubbish theory, why dont you mention that theory to stosic, i'm sure he would appreciate that opinion as he sits at home with his wife and three kids and absolutley no employment. he wanted to stay desperately and is devastated about what has happened. the serbia thing came about last minute and was no garrentee it would have done anything. its a sad situation for the stosic's but to suggest it is delberate is a joke.

no, they said it MAY have helped his case which is a cop out. no one has been given exemption because they played for an international team without having a passport as well, you can play international through your grand parents but you cant always claim citizenship through your grand parents. if the rfl gave him exemption because he played for serbia it would have opened the door for alot of aussie players who play international rugby but are not entitled to citizenship. they ere never gonna let stosic off without citizenship because every man and his dog would have been asking for the same tratment.
