Funny that, cos he never even came close to that quote. That was Steve Mcnamara -
"That was a pretty tough game on a pitch where the boys have got no skin left on their legs – they are red raw.
“It’s an issue, a big issue I think, for Wakefield moving forward for their players.
“I hadn’t seen anything like before in terms of the blisters and the blood in the dressing room from that field."

I remember headlines making it out he was really complaining hard but in reality it was nothing of the like. |

Ahh fair enough I guess i missed that first time, as it was the sun, hardly a proven beacon of the truth in the past mind. 
There is a hint even in that though he was getting the "skin hanging off the players" quote from what Mcnamara and didn't Watson say something similar too? He still wasn't nearly as scathing as Mcnamara though and did say it is what it is.. for what its worth,Peters is a generally positive guy and been a breath of fresh air this year. Watson is a serial moaner and Mcnamara has his moments. |

I actually thought it said this was our coach’s last squad but unfortunately it went on to say for 2023. I hope someone can explain what he has done to merit another season in charge.

Give up. If were going into next season with that squad, for starters, and added a couple more decent I'd be well happy. Unfortunately a few of that squad won't be here. |
