| Im comfortable with the fact I can see no other way out but relegation ,will it be a bad thing ,who know we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it . If the club comes back anything like a Leigh I’m more than happy spending a season playing Batley and the likes . Stopped hoping for miracles a while ago and it makes it much more enjoyable just watching the game without the added stress . Already chomping at the bit to get me n the bosses seats in the new stand for next season , if that’s watching Dewsbury or Leeds next season I care not ,just as long as the club prepares for a full blooded assault the season after . Sometimes in life you have to go backwards to go forwards, and that’s how I’m looking at this new era in our clubs history going forwards into hopefully a much brighter future .Think of it as Short term pain for long term gain ,as fans we’ve waited patiently all these years , what’s another season in the big scheme of things .

I feel exactly the same now, unless things change drastically with our results whenever the T word happens and goes through.
Leigh are a perfect example of going backwards and coming back stronger, but are not the only side to do so.
Cas, Huddersfield, Salford and Hull KR have all managed to do this. Cas and Salford have made it to a grand final. The first two have also managed to win the hood cap, and all barring Hull KR have been to Wembley since relegation.
I think with our improved facilities, a good squad, and a good backer behind us, we're probably in a better position to come back than we ever have

| The problem is that promotion next season will be in the hands of IMG and their formula. It will of course be a bonus to win the championship grand final but it does not guarantee anything. I maybe wrong about the process and I stand to be corrected.

It doesn't guarantee anything but it gives you a fraction of a point (0.25 I think) that no one else has.

Apologies if this is a deft question.
However, if you get 0.25 points for winning a Championship GF, is this more or less than finishing 11th (very optimistic) in SL ?

I seem to recall that each and every position in the League table gives you 0.5 extra above those next down. So, bottom of SL gets 0.5 more than top of Championship but the 0.25 reduces the advantage for these two placings only. Aren't these rankings over a three year period though?
There is something for winning that Championship Competition at Wembley as well though to aim for.

| I think the last time we had Ben @ BV was v Saints when he gave Saints a dodgy golden point DG winner, most fan’s thought Lomax knocked on before kicking the ball over.
Hope he’s more favourable this time around

Yes I believe this to be correct which is why that unless the promoted team next season (most likely Featherstone) finish 8th or higher then if we finish top 2 in the championship (which is a big if) we will score more points on this basis

Yep remember the game, most fans did think he knocked it on but when you watch the game back the ref got it right.

Albeit I've seen some terrible calls over the years, is the referee really our worst enemy this year?

No the referee isn’t. But last week the call to send Fifita for 10 incorrectly effectively put to bed any chance of a comeback with 10 minutes left and 10 behind). It should have been play on and was a the result of play being stopped for a perfectly fine tackle. We were overall the better team at that point too).
