Very unlucky there.

Yes two conned penalties cost us.

Would like to see the two tries we had chalked off too.

Losing England was a major loss. Hope he and Allgod back for next game.

Good team effort overall with Grix MoM for me

Has anyone given Sneyd a penalty yet? Begging for it all game.

Unlucky to lose, could have gone either way

I thought Kirmond was as good as conditions allowed a forward of his size. Damn site more reliable than butter fingers Arona. Another crucial mistake by BJB was the difference between win and loss for me.

Disappointed but not disheartened I thought we tackled well and lasted the full 80 mins. Only difference was Hull had more kick able penalties. Arona had his best game in a Wakefield shirt .

Excellent energy to say we were a forward down for 75 mins. Lacked the quality to punish their mistakes. Good effort overall. This is definitely one that got away.

thought we played well and there is plenty to build on especially ball control and cutting out stupid forward passes, these are things we need remedy.

the fact that Hull had to revert to milking penalties in order to win the game shows how hard we pushed them. It was obvious what they were up to after the first one they pulled on Sio and yet they were able to do the trick 2 or 3 more times before we were smart enough to work it out was very disappointing.

One last point thought Anthony Walker stood up really well and has shown great improvement since he first arrived.

Would be very interested to see the two tries we had chalked off.

Had this game have been televised, they could well have sent them upstairs to the video referee.

Think its time technology was used in all games or not at all.

Those teams that are on TV every week get an unfair advantage.

Poor decisions have cost us two games on the trot against Hull

Happy enough with that performance. Hull spent the entire game trying to get into our half and then milk a penalty. Great effort in defence with only a handful of errors, all of which can be forgiven considering the prevailing conditions. They never gave up, and even looked like they could take the win in the 79th minute. Plenty to be happy about from that, and I'm more convinced than ever that we can easily make the top 8. We played Hull in the conditions that they play best in, and went toe to toe with them for the full 80min

Disagree with your last point, we have gone out and signed players to play more than a forwards game, don't think the conditions suited either team and it could have gone either way. Agree on your point about Wakey, don't think you will be far off the 8's although hard to tell how either team will do after today, but a top effort from both sides.

Hard to tell on the disallowed try's in your ground, but Radford has just said your try was a knock on as he has just watched it.

Good luck for the season and hopefully see a few of you at the KC.

Quite happy with that, we pushed a quality side for 80 mins and could have nicked it.
Tom Johnstones tackling was superb especially in the 2nd half and the kid has a great rugby brain.
I also thought David Fifita was awesome and lifted the team during his spells, he's a great player to have.

All in all I saw enough to think we could have a decent season.

Agree with all this and Fifita was MOM for me. Would add I thought the ref didn't have a good game but not an excuse and I always thought we would nick it and we went very close. Well done lads.

Thought all of them went well today and were a little unlucky not to win thought over the full 80 we were slightly the better side but the score said otherwise. As good a defensive stint as we have seen for sometime.

Turning point was the tackle on Ashurst that left him concussed. We were leading and Ashurst took a head shot and lost the ball. I thought it should have been a penalty but Campbell thought otherwise. Then Hull were awarded a penalty, ironically for a high shot and the field position led to their try.

I thought Campbell made a mistake there but otherwise had a good game.

Disappointed to lose but encouraged with the performance.
