| Is this an attempt to influence the outcome of the appeal before it is even heard? Poor form if so. I would have thought he would have been better off keep his powder dry until the appeal is actually heard.
I don't know what defence the Bulls intend to take to the appeal but I still feel the initial points deduction was premature. I suspect the best outcome will be a reduction to 4 pts. What absolutely must come out of all this is some very clear guidelines by the RFL in regards to the penalties for entering admin. No other SL club has suffered the 1.2M worth of funding being witheld. We've so far we've had no mention of this penalty being applied once again to the Bulls. Will this financial penalty ever be handed out if another club enters admin or was it a one off just for Bradford?

I think most WTW fans "know where they" are with the RFL hence their stance on admin = relegation.

Foretell rather than influence.
I can't imagine anyone with any involvement reads these pages can you?

We had to survive first 2 years in SL with no funding. The loss of SL funding for Bradford was to guarantee their place in SL.

I though this as well. That Omar voluntarily accepted the funding to be withheld as they had had a secret loan that needed paying back? Is this incorrect as the bulls fans always bring this up?? IMO if we are relying on a points deduction to a team for us to stay up, do we deserve to be in SL? The team is good enough to stay up, they just need to be picked on the right positions and left to find a rhythm. I don't think Agar knows his best team

It said he would 'consider' walking away. Not the same at all.

The secret loan had already been paid back. The RFL took the loan amount out of theoney they paid for the odsal lease. This had nothing to do with the withheld sky money.

| Surely they can't believe a "force majeure" defence is justifiable. In what way was there inability to live within their means which ultimately caused the administration an unforeseen event outside of their control?
I would also be interested to see on what grounds the RFL granted an appeal given the licencing application process prevented any legal challenge to the outcome

Carter is speaking out against a clear sense of injustice.

No other club has ever had their ground/lease bought to clear unpaid debts then have to rented back at a bargin basement rent. 3 times the rent we pay but with double the revenus making potential. Nice little bounty there that your saving on the market rate.

Errr, I seem to recall a certain Wakefield Trinity not being given any funding in their first two years in Super League.

What were the reasons for this and what was the value of funding?

Bradford aren't the only RL club the has RFL owned stadia. The Bulls pay market value rent to the RFL.
