done wakey....all credit to the team to make the playoffs, especially as in all honesty its a team made up of released players from all over the shop (including coach) that nobody else wanted, which makes the achievent more special.
Unfortunately it will come to an abrupt end at Headingley next week but enjoy the ride

Watching Agar's reaction last night to the question of...... Can you beat Leeds? His answer and body language was not a very confident YES!
This is a massive game for Agar as well to really take another step in peoples (not just Wakefield fans) perception of him as being a premier coach.His belief is as important to the jigsaw as is ours and the players.Let's hope he can take a team to Headingley this season and wipe out last years memories with Hull.

Agar has unfinished business here. He and Hull FC were knocked out in the play offs last year at Headingley. I was at the match and Hull were poor that day. Hopefully Agar has learnt from that experience and can be more inspiring in the changing room - not that it should be needed, we are playing Leeds for goodness sake! You don't need any more motivation.

The good thing is we usually play well against Leeds and I hope it will be no different in the playoffs. The team really must fancy their chances, we've beaten them once comfortably at home and very close to turning them over at their place this season. so they'll have good memories.

Exactly..Just thought he would have been ready for that question (because everyone else was) and thrown it back at them with bells on.That's what the top managers do.
I had my doubts like a lot on here and I am more than happy to admit that, but for us to take that next step,so has Richard Agar and I will be hoping the lad does because it could be the start of a very good ride.
