maybe if either one of them had the slightest idea how to prepare a team for a game of rugby, they could have used their time better giving some direction to the team instead of picking fights with the crowd.

I think you may have misconstrued my point old chap, as i mentioned, i'm sure this was just a bad choice of phrasing from PB, and was not directed as a sweeping generalisation towards all the fans, even though at the time it did feel a little like that. As i say, everything is a grey area and i am very much with you that it is good to see a man who is seemingly passionate towards the job he is doing, especially with the limited resources that we have at our club. I am also with you in the fact that if fans just want to turn up simply to slag off the club, don't bother turning up at all, hence why we are known as "supporters" not "abusers" (ok i recognise that line could go anywhere!) But in any line of work where you are the employee, and you start throwing verbal abuse at the customer, irrespective of the line of work you are in or the verbal abuse you have recieved from that person, there are generally going to be repercussions from your employer, and negative responses from the public...

This is the first acid test of AG IMO.

A successful businessman would not accept such a gross misconduct towards customers.

Put it this way if one of his fitters did a job a customer wasn't happy with and the fitter reacted in such a way, you could bet he would have the due paperwork (P45) waiting for him when the boss heard about it.

Are we a business or an old lads club? Public apology from AG and removal of PB, anything short of that is hardly showing customer care.

There's 4 or 5 of us go to every game when we are playing with belief, structure and purpose so make it happen once more!!

It has crossed my mind a few times, I know since Ted and Di's long overdue demise the club tried breaking away from the close family run feel but you never know.
