| I think Lino got injured in training too. He must have been out for at least a month now.

Unfortunately it seems Lino has never been the leader we'd hoped for ., more like an headless chicken . ......having Gale on the field these last couple of weeks has just highlighted that ! Don't blame Lino ..he is what he is , the recruitment has been to blame .

I don’t blame Lino as like you say he is more a running off the cuff player. It certainly highlights we need an organiser at 7. He doesn’t really need to lead though, he needs to create space and get players around him moving. I just think he lacks the vision to organise plays. I won’t fault Lino for the effort he’s shown but it’s smarts we need. I’ll back Lino if he takes the field though.
Who would play 7 if Gale, Lino and Smith are out though? Would have to be a young lad getting his shot possibly. Abrahams maybe?

| Harry Bowes played at 7 last year in Catalan, and did ok as I recall but I'm not sure who played 6 that day.

But that's what a leader does.....".creates space and gets players moving around him"........ Hopefully Gale can help him even if not on the field but .....a leader is natural !!

You should offer your services to the club. We could do with a clairvoyant and an expert on signing top class players on a budget.

WE ? are you Carters spokes person. If so you have got it all wrong, the club needs someone who isn't conned by ruthless agents and is able to recognise garbage when it is offered. Perhaps if the bloke had decided to employ the services of someone who actually knew something about rugby League , the squad would be far more competitive.
Michael Carter may have many admirable qualities but knowledge of rugby league is not one of them, his past three years as self appointed CEO and rugby director is proof of that.

Think he made a fair point ,Gale is no longer a top player ,but in the 2 games he will have played for us this season ,as shown he was the best half we had .We find out self going into the Championship because over the last 4 year we have just been signing good S L players who have been over the hill when they get here ,and a lot as the playmaker of the team .D Brough ,Gaskell now Gale i could name a lot more. We are not in the position were we can sign a player and have him out for 7 or 8 week .When are we going to learn old players and S L is a no go Gutted as Gale just opened the door a bit to stop us from relegation But do think we have got to look at the way they are been trained ,or the back room staff who,s job it is to keep them fit
