I imagine that he will also be "working" in their community department which and be classed as playing rugby as part time so the Rugby side would be classed as supplementary income meaning it is a different Visa and much easier to get.

| I'd spend the money on a new coach, who is experienced and has not necessarily won stuff, but has shown results can be attained given most situations, ie not having much money to begin with........yeah, then I woke up.

Who was the contributor on here who indicated that Hull KR would struggle because their new coach was not up to the job. I wonder what they think now ?

I was thinking like people to sign, positions to full, people to pay off.
For £500k you can get some good players.'"
He might not keep them up but you can see the difference in Leeds United players with an experienced manager behind the scenes with Allerdyce….
Trinity need a rugby league equivalent Ellery Hanley,Brian Smith,Karl Harrison,Brian Noble etc

Not sure tbh, there was a lot of stuff put on here pre-season as per usual! What gets me is, if someone says they think a certain player might not be a good signing etc, it is just an opinion, the same as, yeah he'll be great for us etc, but that's ok because it's deemed to be 'positive.' But most of it is just wishful thinking. I thought we'd struggle a bit, but not to this extent, it now intrigues me if we did get a more experienced guy in if we would improve enough to at least make a fight of it, but I guess we'll never know. Like I said the other day, all we have left now to cling onto, is Gale & Jowitt making a difference, who is a new player really for Applegarth.

I'm all for it if it helps but for me we need speed.
Even if we make a break we don't get far.
A Mason Caton-Brown would be nice

This isn’t football. British agents generally get 5%. Sometimes less. Australian agents charge between 6% & 7%.

Or a Lachlan Walmsley.
4 try’s yesterday and 64 try’s in 58 previous. No matter what league we end up in I’d be interested in him for 2024 or asap. The lad knows the way to the try line and he’s about to hit his prime years 25 shortly.
I agree we need some speed on the wing.

Trouble is with a football guy, is that his priority is football, as and when he gets bored with Trin.
And, to point out the obvious, aren’t we just getting rid of a football guy in MC?

| Are we sure people aren’t putting 2+2 together and making a couple of million here?
I had heard we had signed up a nice new sponsor for the new east stand which will provide better income than previous deals and it was an advance on some of those monies that enable the deal for Luke Gale, hence the new investment line there? Not heard anything about an actual new owner coming in, just MC stepping down as CEO and a replacement taking over that role. MC & JM would still hold the shares to the club.
If there is a new owner on the horizon then the football club guy is the most likely candidate but you need to be careful what you wish for there.
