The very few times I’ve seen Sid play I have not been impressed. I’m guessing the coaching team haven’t either if he was fit to play for reserves yet we played Hall at second row as a stop gap option.

I saw him play in the reserves and he was head and shoulders the best forward on the park. On the limited occasions I've seen him play first team he's gone just fine.

I just thought he was still injured.

The bottom line is the attempt is shocking and deserves whatever he receives just like I would expect be the case if it had happened against us. I think we should just be glad that he was not sent off at the time which would be justified based on current criteria especially with it being on tv.
I think his action could have jeopardised our survival and it was completely unnecessary.

SOL on Annakin. 1 match for one of the worst stiff arms I have ever seen. Catalan player 2 matches for a really bad tip tackle.

SOL has been retired for two years. That's hardly good evidence for current disciplinary process.

Evidence would be two identical incidents treated differently between two clubs.

Well to be fair your unlikely to anyway even if it was the case, if this favouritism to some clubs does prevail they are hardly going to make it obvious, I can understand what Vastman is saying even if he's wrong and I'm not saying he is, but I bet there are quite a lot of fans from the perceived lesser fashionable clubs whose own perception of the punishment dished out matches vastys opinion.

But thats the point. Lots of fans think their club is hard done to. They can't all be right.
To suggest that we are treated differently implies that you have seen something that was unfair compared to another team. I haven't seen that and it looks like none of you have too.
Thinking the punishment is too steep is one thing but the rules apply to everyone.
