It may well be a non starter. But as an example 100 people committing £1000 gets you a fair chunk.
The club would know the mechanics of wether it would be of any benefit.

I to would happily invest or in truth give Trinity a Grand in return for some shares. I’m surprised it hasn’t happened already. But then MC and JM are decent men so I suspect they are not willing to sell shares until the club is on a position to have a fighting chance.

You really shouldn’t judge others by own despicably low standards. I know at least four people who would happily invest so long as it was a well presented offer. None of them would ever expect to see a financial return, just a playing one.

I think the Club issued shares at £25 each back in Ted's days. I don't recall it being a big success and many shareholders (if not all) saw their money disappear into the ether (or Cyprus).

Yep...me and the missus 'invested' £100 each never expecting any return and that's exactly what we got
