I would certainly think so with the barriers in place and work already started for instance the frame for the big screen has been removed and thus impacted the area around it.

Can any one on here who used the North Stand v Hull, give an update on how things went using the new routine. I didn’t think there was 1500 in the NS. The Attendance was given at just under 4,500, I would imagine about 400, away fans on Western terrace. Did anyone explain to you why the wrist band is necessary?

The west terrace was full, easily 1500.
The North terrace was not terrible, it seemed more than 1500 to me but if that’s what they say.
So that’s 3,000. I can only assume the other 1500 were in the east stand and terrace and the boxes.

| I think it represents the maximum number of supporters allowed in the North Stand which was probably not set by the club hence their eagerness to comply with this restriction.

I got in early so it was a doddle. 4 turnstiles in use and a couple of guys fitting you with the wristbands. I kept looking over to see how things progressed and noticed that the turnstile doors never closed so we can't have reached the 1500 max. There was a bit of a queue inside for the wristbands as the usual late arrivals rolled up but no real congestion or problems as I could see.
Considering how poor we've been and how bad the weather was I thought it was a reasonable crowd. Might be more wanting entry in the North Stand for the Wire game?

| Believe the council were in attendance to keep an eye on it.

No barriers are up either side of the North Stand and the big screen frame has already been dug out. Quite a bit of terracing at either end of the standard was out of bounds it Work has already started for the prep.

Arrived about an hour before kick-off, no problems getting in, or queues for wristband attachment.
One positive for me, was that there was not any foul mouthed chanting this week and the noise in there when the dg went over was unbelievable.
When is the open top bus tour of the city, because the celebrations at the end were as if we'd won t'cup.

It worked ok
Got to the ground 45 mins before kick off (rather than the usual 10 mins), had to queue for a wristband but, it was all pretty straight forward.
With work already underway (the Sky TV framework has gone etc) and with parts of the Northstand now cordoned off, there had to be some restrictions.
It's just a pity that there weren't more fans in attendance (although this may have tested the new "system a little more".
No access to the "infamous" gents toilets at the back of the stand, which meant more queueing at those that were available and the "tannoy" was impossible to hear.
It will all be worth it and we just look forward to the improvements starting and being completed

| It just seemed a bit daft to queue on the inside of the ground for a wrist band after coming through the turnstiles.
It wasn’t an issue in Sunday but also plenty of pushing in going on as people came through the turnstile and didn’t go to the rear of the next queue.
If there was a chance people could be missing out on getting in the North Stand I could see that leading to a bit of bother.

I'm presuming the turnstile doors will close once the capacity is reached so all those inside will be fine? Also reducing the turnstiles in operation to just two, once say a 1200 were in, would smooth the flow inside the ground.

| You could gain entry to the paddock as well as the North Stand at the Doncaster road turnstiles, so the turnstiles will remain open. Once the wrist bands are all gone you'll be directed to the paddock.
