Indeed. And Fletch played on the right in 2. I've just completely dreamed the whole thing up.

Just watched the 79 semi final closing minutes (again even though I was there) and Flekker scores the winning try on the right wing and his try in the final was on the right ... although I do remember his debut season he was on the left wing ...
Ps just have a feeling (nothing more) that the halfbacks on Sunday will be Miller and Gaskell

| I think there is a great possibility Gaskell and Miller will be 6 and 7.
Lino being in the squad doesn't mean he'll play.

| I'd go along with previous posters; Neil Fox ALWAYS left centre and ALWAYS wore no. 4 when playing in the "backs".

Remember Fletch running one in from our own try line, full 100yds, at Craven Park, down the left.

And he ended up missing the final.'"
One of the greatest things to happen to RL when the committee stopped being involved in player selection. Boggles the mind that this was ever so.

Good side but Pitts would be one of the first picks for me.

Not sure how you could drop Pitts, our best back rower imho, certainly the most consistent.

Gert Coetzer was not brought in as a replacement for N Fox he was moved from the wing to . Think he also played in the S F in the centre as N Fox was out in that match as well

Did you miss the words ‘Just for fun?’
Fwiw I rate Batchelor higher than Pitts as right edge forward and Pitts can’t play anywhere else hence I left him out...

| When the game kicks off it will be 2am here in Aussie... should I set my alarm??? To listen on the wireless??? If so which channel should I tune into???
Even the best laid plans are subject to turning over and going back to sleep!!
