Miller outstanding today.

Never been about pace with TJ. He’s quick no doubt but it’s his balance, athleticism and his ability to take his chances that really set him apart. Kershaw may be quicker I don’t know but he’s still behind on the others.

That said he’s improved dramatically this season, one of a tiny number who can say that.

Don’t tell the number one expert that.

How anyone can criticise Miller this season is beyond me. Sure he’s not world class and he has bad games but in terms of consistency I wish the rest were as reliable as often as Milky is.

Kershaw as improved in every part of his game this seson ,and is turning into a very good winger .

In some ways yes but Jones rarely scored where as Kershaw has a reasonable strike rate. In fairness to Jones it was harder to score in those days.

Wrong in what aspect vasty that its the same team cc would of picked that miller should of been dropped, your obsession with me been wrong is somwhat sad and i did say few months back that a new coach would have an instant impact as with the new coach syndrome and hey presto but you will fail to mention that..but lets just hope its not a one off and things continue to improve under whoever gets the job permanently

You suggested Poching would pick the team CC would have picked because he is somehow incapable of making his own choices, this is nonsense.

Poching picked pretty much the team almost every knowledgeable manager or even supporter would. It was pure logic, only Senior would have been replaced by Lyne by most but he wasn’t available.

All the positions made sense as did the tactics.

As for dropping Miller, our most consistent player throughout the season begets belief, as proven today.

Poching had five days to prepare his team and he did ok. If you must judge him at least do it at the end of the season. Fairs fair.

Big play from Tommy Johnstone today with just 13 seconds left on the clock he out jumped 2 Warrington players to take the short kick off. If the Warrington players had palmed that ball back as in the previous kick off I think the way they were shifting the ball the result may well have gone their way. Well done Tom.
