My guess is between 2300 and 2400 and the figure MC gave you will be around that, which brings me to you 'overestimated by a small amount statistically in my book of sums 1700 isn't that small nor is 1300 which comes from your 4000 and 3500 guesses doh and yes both guesses were way out. Not points scoring just challenging incorrect information.

I may be a few dozen out and I didn’t include the boxes but I’m closer than you.

I get approx 2,800, probably add another 100 in the boxes and visiting the bogs and I\d say 2,900.

That puts it somewhere between my lowest guess, remember the word guess and yours.

It's not too difficult under normal circumstances, working on the usual 4k average of the faithful add on some extras and part timers depending on the visiting team, plus the away support on the western terrace which isn't all that difficult to estimate and you'll not be far off, but we aren't playing to regular crowds atm which makes it a lot harder to estimate, not sure why the club can't give out the attendances as normal fwiw.

Other than using it as yet another stick to beat the club with, I don't see a great need to know the exact crowd figure. Going by info coming out of the club shop on Facebook and Twitter we appear to get to as near a sell out as makes no difference which is all that matters currently.
